パズルBOOKS80　「ナンプレ超上級編17」世界文化社、西尾徹也編著に掲載されているナンプレパズル101題のなかで、総合格付けランキング第一位（実質第三位、技術点第一位）に輝いたのは、No.98　puzzle　(作　酒仙堂）であった。

解説　

　難易度および見てくれともに総合第一位に相応しいすぐれた作品である。

　8粒子の円2個と4粒子の半円を組み合わせた42型パターンの　Blood　は、82B*42M* で表されいずれもパターン・ポイントは、36　ptになる。これが　Visual poinｔの主たるもので、残念ながら　Creative　pointは低い。

　このパターンを、82B*42M*　で　Blood検索した結果、

　　　　難問ナンプレ12　　No.60　　（作：青木真一）
　　　　激辛数独　9　　　　No.35　　（作：はあさん）
　　　　世界で一番　2　　　No.48　　（作：西尾徹也）　
　
　などがあった。点対称であるので、10point　が加わり、Artistic point はいずれも　46 pointになる。

　一方、技術点は高く、相当の難問である。通常手筋（と言っても超上級手筋）で18手まで進むがここで行き詰まる。ここで、ニ択候補は118組もあり、重複するものを除くと正味33個ある。Birdy数（一発で解が得られる）は27個ある。このうち、ニ択のもう一方が、基本技だけで、すぐに行き詰まるのが殆どであった。この問題は、本ソフトに登録のない手筋（ Impricit Triple の Finned fish、Sasimi fish や Triple conposit deform ）で求まるのかもしれない。
